The handcrafted barrel is made of stabilized Blue Burl hardwood, polished to a high sheen and installed on antique brass hardware. Stabilizing is a process that makes the barrel rock-hard while simultaneosly dyeing the wood through its entire depth. Included is a Parker style black, medium ballpoint refill, available at office supply stores.
