A perfect gift for the wine connoisseur or anyone who appreciates wine, with or without a fine dinner. The inlay is assembled by hand from individual pieces of dyed, stabilized maple wood set into a natural maple barrel. Stabilizing makes the maple rock hard and ensures color stability throughout the entire depth of the piece. Then the barrel is turned to shape on a lathe and sanded to 600 grit. Six coats of very durable CA finish are applied and polished to a high shine.
The hardware is the very durable Sierra smooth click pen finished in 24K gold and black.
Included is a black, medium ballpoint ink cartridge, available at stationery stores and on line.
Also included is a hinged presentation box, which is perfect for gift giving or protecting your pen.
