The Special Forces emblem pays tribute to the groups of Army
professionals who are know as the Green Berets, Delta Force - the elite
counter-terrorism experts, the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 160th
Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the Intelligence Support Activity group
and other elite units.
The parts for this pen are laser cut to precise dimensions
using stabilized, dyed maple wood. Stabilizing makes each piece rock hard and
ensures color stability throughout.
After assembly the barrel is turned to shape on a lathe,
sanded to 600 grit and 6 coats of very durable CA finish are applied, wet
sanded and polished to a pleasant sheen. The pen hardware is the high quality
Sierra twist finished in gunmetal and black.
Included is a medium point, black Parker style ink
cartridge, which is available at most office supply stores and on-line.
Also included is a hinged presentation
box, which is perfect for gift giving or protecting your pen.
