Wenge, imported from Central Africa, is a dense, dark brown hardwood with black streaks and a distinctive, pleasant grain pattern. Sometimes referred to as African Rosewood, it is used for flooring, furniture and musical instruments, since it is heavy, hard and beautiful when finished
After turning to shape on a lathe and sanding to 600 grit, six coats of finish are applied and buffed for a long lasting, pleasant sheen.
The pen shown is the high quality Sierra twist finished in Chrome and Black Chrome. It includes a Parker style medium point, black cartridge available at most office supply stores.
