The wood used to make this pen is hard, straight grained oak taken from a horse stable stall. It is harder and denser than red or most white oak. After shaping on a lathe and sanded to 600 grit, six coats of finish are applied and buffed to a high shine for smooth wood feel.

The pen shown is the high quality Sierra twist with a chrome and black chrome finish. It comes with a medium ballpoint, black Parker style refill available at most office supply stores.
