American black walnut is one of the most valuable and unique species of hardwoods. It is used for high-end furniture, gunstocks, paneling and other projects. The walnut barrel for this pen was carefully turned to shape on a lathe, sanded to 600 grit and the six coats of a finish were applied and buffed to a pleasing sheen.

The pen hardware is the high quality Sierra twist, finished in Chrome and Black Chrome and includes a Parker style black, medium point ink cartridge. Refills are available at most office supply stores.
