The Stars and Stripes pen is assembled from individual pieces of stabilized maple, cut by laser to precise dimensions. Stabilizing is a process which dyes the wood throughout its entire depth and makes it rock hard.

The individual stripes and 50 wood stars are assembled by hand and turned to shape on a lathe. Then the barrel is sanded to 600 grit and six coats of CA finish are applied. The result is a long lasting finish with a smooth look and shine.

The pen shown is a high quality Sierra smooth operating click type, without the click sound. It is finished in 24K gold and black chrome. Included is a Parker style black, medium ballpoint ink cartridge, available at office supply stores or on line.

Included is a hinged presentation box, which is perfect for gift giving or to protect your pen.
