The Runner inlay is made from laser cut stabilized curly maple and dyed blue maple for a perfect fit. Stabilizing makes the wood rock hard and ensures color stability through its entire depth. The pen is sanded through several stages to 600 grit and finished with six coats of CA finish, which is wet sanded and polished to a smooth, high shine.

The pen shown is the high quality Sierra twist with an epoxy coated 24K gold and black finish. It comes with a Parker style, medium ballpoint ink cartridge, which is available at most office supply stores.

Included is a hinged, acrylic box, which is perfect for gifting or protecting your pen.
