The artist inlay consists of 20 individual dyed pieces of maple and curly maple wood. Each piece is cut by laser for a perfect fit, assembled by hand and shaped on a lathe. Then six coats of very durable CA finish are applied, wet sanded and polished to a high, long lasting shine.
The pen hardware is the reliable Sierra twist finished in 24K gold and black chrome. Included is a black, medium point Parker style ink cartridge. Refills are available at most stationery stores or on line.

Also included is a hinged gift box, which is perfect for gift giving or protecting your pen
