The beautiful, cryptic Mother and Child inlay may not be apparent at first glance. The design is made of 11 delicate pieces of Maple and Holly and is not a colored decal. The barrel and parts of this pen are laser cut from stabilized dyed wood for a perfect fit, without the use of fillers. Stabilizing ensures color stability throughout the entire depth and makes the pieces rock hard. The barrel is sanded to 600 grit and 6 coats of finished are applied and polished to a high, smooth luster.

The pen shown is the high quality Sierra twist with a 24K gold and black finish. It comes with a Parker style medium ballpoint, black refill available at most office supply stores.
