The Gear Pen is one of the most difficult to assemble as the barrel consists of 32 laser cut maple wood parts. They include 9 different gears with inserts and 14 separate pieces which make up the barrel itself. After assembly the barrel is shaped on a lathe and sanded to 600 grit. Six coats of durable CA finish are then applied, wet sanded to 1200 grit and polished to a high sheen. The result is a fine looking, well balanced pen which will be treasured for many years.

The high quality Sierra twist pen with a gunmetal and chrome finish complements the gear barrel perfectly. Included is a medium point, black Parker style ink cartridge available at most office supply stores.

Also included is a hinged presentation box, which is perfect for gift giving or protecting your pen.
