The beautiful design of the daffodil is not a colored decal or painting. It is made from 7 individual dyed and stabilized wood parts that are laser cut to fit perfectly without the use of fillers. Stabilizing ensures color stability throughout the entire depth and makes the pieces rock hard. The parts are assembled by hand, turned to shape on a lathe, sanded to 600 grit and 6 coats of CA finish are applied and polished to a high shine.

The pen shown is a Sierra twist with 24K gold and black chrome finish. Included is a black, medium ballpoint Parker style ink cartridge. Refills are available at most office supply stores or on line.
