The barrel of this pen is made from Cocobolo, a tropical hardwood from Central America. A true rosewood that varies in color from a yellowish orange to deep red to reddish brown with darker, irregular traces weaving through. After shaping on a lathe and sanded to 600 grit, six coats of finish are applied and buffed to a high shine for smooth look and feel.

The pen shown is the high quality Sierra twist. It is finished in chrome and black and comes with a medium ballpoint, black Parker style refill available at most office supply stores.
