You can actually see the components under the heavy layer of clear acrylic, which is turned to shape on a lathe, sanded and polished to a high shine.

The pen is a stylish, bolt action model finished in 24K gold and the hexagon shape at the tip makes for a very comfortable writing experience. The Parker style black, medium point cartridge is advanced or retracted by sliding the bolt forward or back. Refills are available at most stationery stores or on-line. Parker gel refills may also be used as a replacement.
